The threaded compression fittings, also called bulkhead fittings, allow you to create an additional connection on the tank, in order to connect a valve, piping or any other accessory. Compression fittings create an additional NPT female threaded connection.
For perfect chemical compatibility, the bulkhead fittings are made of polypropylene, PVC or stainless steel.
Seals are available in EPDM or Viton.
Since the fittings are threaded on their entire interior surface, it is possible to connect an accessory to it, either inside or outside the tank.
It is very important to validate the chemical compatibility of the liquid to be contained with the polyethylene, which is the resin used to mold the tank.
You will also need to ensure that the product is compatible with the materials of the fitting and its seal.
It is possible to modify the tank to fit your specific needs, by adding screwed or bolted connections, or welded flanges, for more specialized piping.
USAGE :
The threaded compression fittings are installed directly through the tank wall to create a connection.
These connections can have several functions:
Add a filling inlet (this avoids having to unscrew the lid each time)
