Polypropylene and PVC Tank Fittings

The threaded compression fittings, also called bulkhead fittings, allow you to create an additional connection on the tank, in order to connect a valve, piping or any other accessory. Compression fittings create an additional NPT female threaded connection. 

• For perfect chemical compatibility, the bulkhead fittings are made of polypropylene, PVC or stainless steel.
• Seals are available in EPDM or Viton.
• Since the fittings are threaded on their entire interior surface, it is possible to connect an accessory to it, either inside or outside the tank.
• It is very important to validate the chemical compatibility of the liquid to be contained with the polyethylene, which is the resin used to mold the tank.
• You will also need to ensure that the product is compatible with the materials of the fitting and its seal.
• It is possible to modify the tank to fit your specific needs, by adding screwed or bolted connections, or welded flanges, for more specialized piping.
