Plastic containers with attached lids

Plastic containers with attached lids are designed for the storage, handling, distribution and transport of products in industrial environments. The integrated lid remains attached to the container, simplifying container management and eliminating the need to replace lost or misplaced separate lids.

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene, these reusable containers provide a durable solution for protecting parts, supplies and goods during storage or transportation. The two lid panels close in the centre, allowing loaded containers to be stacked.

When the lids are open, the containers nest inside one another. This design reduces the space occupied by empty containers in a warehouse, vehicle or during return transport.

These attached-lid containers are particularly suitable for distribution centres and warehouses, retail operations, workshops, maintenance departments and order-picking applications. The models in this category are intended for industrial applications and are not food grade.

Why choose a plastic container with an attached lid?

Lid attached to the container

The lid remains attached to the container during use, storage and transportation. Containers and lids therefore do not need to be managed separately.

This feature is particularly useful when containers regularly circulate between workstations, departments, warehouses, branches or vehicles.

Stackable and nestable containers

The containers can be stacked when their lids are closed. This configuration simplifies product storage and helps make better use of vertical space.

When empty and open, the containers nest inside one another. This reduces the space required for return transportation or the storage of unused containers.

Content protection

The attached lids protect the contents against dust, accidental contact and routine handling. Openings located at both ends also allow the lids to be held closed with tie-wrap security seals.

Designed for material handling

Moulded handles facilitate manual lifting and handling. The textured bottom provides better traction on conveyors, pallets and other material-handling surfaces.

To move several containers at once, dollies for plastic containers are also available.

How do you choose the right size?

The choice primarily depends on the volume, dimensions and weight of the contents being transported. Interior dimensions determine the actual usable space, while exterior dimensions help confirm compatibility with shelving, conveyors, pallets and vehicles.

The 21" × 15" × 9" size is suitable for compact items and provides a capacity of 36.8 litres. The 21" × 15" × 12" model maintains a similar footprint while providing a capacity of 48.1 litres.

The 27" × 17" × 12" size provides a capacity of 70.7 litres and a load capacity of up to 100 lb. It is suitable for larger or heavier products.

If your application does not require an integrated lid, industrial plastic containers with solid walls and bottoms may be another option.

Frequently asked questions

Are these containers stackable?

Yes. They can be stacked when both lid panels are properly closed.

Are they nestable when empty?

Yes. The containers nest when their lids are open, reducing the space required for storage and return transportation.

Are these containers food grade?

No. The models in this category are designed for industrial applications.

Which colours are available?

All three sizes are available in grey or blue. Colours can help identify products, work areas or departments.
