Assembled Liquid Discharge Hoses

Assembled discharge hoses with Camlock fittings

To connect a discharge line without selecting the hose and end fittings separately, consider a preassembled hose. Our PVC layflat hoses include one male and one female aluminum Camlock fitting, secured with hose clamps.

This range of industrial hoses handles the discharge of compatible liquids, primarily using a pump. The end fittings are already installed, but their compatibility with your equipment connections must still be confirmed.

Why choose a preassembled hose?

For end fittings already installed

The assembly includes the hose and both fittings. This configuration eliminates the need to purchase the components separately to obtain a discharge line with end fittings.

We still check the connections on the pump and at the other end of the circuit. Equipment with a threaded outlet does not directly accept a Camlock fitting simply because the diameters match.

For intermittent use

These polyester-reinforced flexible PVC hoses are designed for occasional, medium-duty use. They can be considered for temporary discharge operations once working conditions have been assessed.

The hose rolls up flat when not in use. This compact storage is practical between jobs, but the fittings remain rigid at the ends.

For an agricultural installation or tank circuit

Draining needs can arise in agriculture or various tank applications.

We consider the liquid, pump and circuit connections. A preassembled hose simplifies the selection of hose components; it does not replace an application assessment.

Available diameters and lengths

The configurations offered are sold individually, with their aluminum Camlock fittings already installed.

We choose the length based on the actual route between equipment. The 100-foot version is available in the 2" diameter; this length is therefore not offered in every diameter shown.

If you need another length, consider our discharge hoses sold by the foot. Connections and their fastening method must then be selected separately.

Connections must match your equipment

The Camlock designation identifies the fitting type, but it does not establish full compatibility. We check the diameter, male or female connection and materials in contact with the liquid.

Depending on the installation, additional Camlock fittings or hose barb adapters may be considered. Hose clamps are already included in the assemblies shown here.

If the circuit includes ball valves or bulkhead fittings, their specifications must also be taken into account.

Limits to check before ordering

Discharge only

These layflat hoses are intended for discharge at a pump outlet. Having end fittings already installed does not make them suitable for suction.

To handle both suction and discharge of a non-food liquid with the same hose, consider our liquid suction and discharge hoses, after checking their operating limits.

Temperature and pressure

These hoses can be used from −15 °C to 55 °C. The maximum allowable pressure varies with the selected diameter.

Even if the hoses look alike, we check the pressure limit of each one before ordering.

Liquid being carried

Compatibility must account for the PVC, aluminum fittings and seals. For a chemical, fertilizer or cleaning solution, specify the product, concentration and temperature.

For potable water or a food liquid, consider the potable water hose range instead, then have the application assessed.

Frequently asked questions

Are both fittings included?

Yes. Each assembly includes one male and one female aluminum Camlock fitting, already secured to the hose.

Can this assembly be used at a pump inlet?

No. For suction, choose a configuration designed to withstand vacuum so the hose does not collapse.

Are all diameters available in a 100-foot length?

No. Among the configurations shown, only the 2" version is available in a 100-foot length. All three diameters are offered in a 50-foot length.
