Construction suited to the contents

The range includes double-wall carts filled with insulating polyurethane and a triple-wall construction incorporating dense, durable polyethylene foam. These construction differences must be considered alongside the load, overall size and operating conditions. The number of walls alone does not determine the right choice.

For dry ingredients, solid foods or liquids, specify what the cart will hold and the maximum expected weight. For a hot product or a particular application, have the model’s limits confirmed before ordering.

Choose for the reality of your plant

Check the weight, not just the litres

A cart may provide the volume you need without being suitable for the weight of its contents. Capacity in litres and allowable load are two separate characteristics.

Before ordering, confirm the quantity to be moved and its weight. For liquids, also check the filling and movement conditions. A food-grade designation does not replace this validation.

Plan for filling and emptying

In a food processing plant, the cart must fit the workstations where it will be used. Check the loading height, access to the contents and how employees will empty it.

The drain can be used to discharge liquid or wash water. However, its suitability for your use must be confirmed: having a drain does not guarantee that every type of contents will flow out easily.

Consider access routes and cleaning

Check the doors, aisles, turns and thresholds along the route. Also allow for the space needed around the cart at the washing station.

When choosing a cart, we consider the entire equipment: container, base, casters, axles and drain. This is an important distinction from industrial box trucks, some configurations of which have a steel or plywood base and no drain.

Plan for accessories from the start

If the contents need to be covered, consider our cart lids, sold separately. Select the one compatible with your cart.

Cart options and accessories are selected according to the equipment and project requirements. A drain with a plug is included. Depending on the configuration, the drain can be replaced with a fitting that allows a valve to be attached. Have this option confirmed for your application.

Do you need a box truck or a mobile pallet box?

If your products are already in pallet boxes, a solution on casters or a cart may avoid transferring the contents into another container.

We check the compatibility of the pallet box with the cart, the weight, the route and the sanitary requirements of the entire assembly. For liquids, the configuration must also be suited to that use.

Yes, the range includes configurations intended for solids and liquids. We must confirm the choice according to the liquid, its temperature, its weight and the movement conditions.

What should be checked for food use?

Material compliance for food contact and CFIA approval are separate considerations. We check the model’s characteristics, its other components and the requirements of your application. Plastic compliance alone does not establish suitability for the entire use.
