• The connection is made by inserting the male Camlock adapter into the female Camlock coupler.
• Coupling is possible only if, before insertion, the two clamping levers of the female part are open, and, after insertion, the two clamping levers are closed simultaneously.
• It is possible to secure the clamping levers in place using pins if the pressure in the hose is very high or if there is a lot of back and forth movement near the hoses, to prevent the clamp levers are opened by accident and the Camlock is disconnected.
• Sealing is achieved by the permanent and uniform pressure exerted by the adapter on the coupler seal.
