Did you know?
**** What is rack capacity?
This is the maximum load capacity that a pallet can support before bending, when the load is evenly distributed on it, and the pallet is placed in a shelf, with, as only support, a 2.5" wide edge wide, on two opposite sides, without any center support. Only the two 2.5" ledges support the full weight of the load.
Any rackable pallet must have a specified rack load capacity. If the plastic pallet does not have this feature, the shelf (or pallet rack) must be equipped with safety bars to support the base of the pallet. A wire mesh or wooden plank can also be used as support.
The RX series plastic pallets offer good value for money. They combine robustness and economy.
These pallets have a molded base with 4 runners on the contour and a central leg. It can be handled from 4 sides with a forklift or a pallet truck. They have a rack capacity of 1200 lbs.
Blue, red and green color palettes are FDA compliant for food use. They are made of primary virgin high density polyethylene, in which a food coloring has been added. Food RX pallets are popular in pharmaceutical industries, food companies and in processing plans. They are often found in cold rooms, refrigerators, freezers, or in dry environments for storing various foods, etc. They can all be used on conveyors in production lines or on a racking systems.
Black RX pallets are for commercial or industrial use. They are made of recycled high density polyethylene, therefore, from a second fusion. They serve warehouses, distribution centers, transportation of goods of all kinds and floor or rack storage very well.
